Daniel Zeichner will be speaking at Pembroke Politics on the 23rd of October 2015, on “the need for Labour in a changing world”, in the Old Library at 6pm.
Daniel is Cambridge’s new MP, slimly elected for Labour by around 600 votes. He read Economics at King’s College, and served as a trade union leader before entering Parliament. He describes himself as a “socialist in a modern context”, at the left of the Labour Party. Daniel believes we need the Labour Party in an increasingly global and technologically advanced world, of which Cambridge is at the centre.
We look forward to welcoming Daniel to Pembroke in Michaelmas.
